New KDE Artwork

Since aaron blogged about changes to KDE 3.5, I thought I'd share this change I made, which I already added to 3.5.1. It had been bugging me for ages, but I thought since it wasn't strictly a bugfix I wouldn't announce it in the changelog in case I got told off! But I don't expect anyone even noticed it. Now I want to go and compile stuff to see which bevels aaron removed, since that's another thing which has been bugging me for ages.

No really...

Where is the difference? I tried with putting my glasses on, can't notice it...sorry for being ignorant...

You'll have to click on the image to view it full size to see the difference (and then click on 'all sizes' in flickr). The differences are:

1. The radii are the same on the old version, so they don't look right.

2. The blue of the edges and the map are a little darker than the blue in the centre, although you'll probably only be able to tell on an LCD display.

3. The horizontal blue lines in the old version are blurry, but they're sharp on the new one.

SuSE provides a sub-menu to directly access the configuration modules so I seldom see the change but don't worry, it was worth it. That's much better now!

It definitively deserved a line in the changlog but as long as it's done, that all that matters.
